DEANNE CHAMBERLAIN KINIMAKA

July 6, 1949 - March 22, 2014 -- On March 22, 2014 Deanne went to be with her Lord and Savior, and was met at the gate by her Daddy. She was born July 6, 1949 in Oklahoma City to P.E. "Gene" & V. Irene Chamberlain. Deanne worked at TG&Y Stores until her graduation from Southeast HS in 1967. She began working for Kerr McGee until she moved to Hawaii in 1973, where she met David T. Kinimaka, Jr. They were married for 13 years and had three children, to whom she devoted her life. Deanne retired in 2012 from OG&E after 25 years of dedicated service. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and her father Gene Chamberlain. Deanne is survived by her mother: V. Irene Chamberlain; children: Kiana & Paul O'Dell, Kawika Kinimaka, Keala &John R. West, II; brother: Tommy Chamberlain; sister: Irene L. Chamberlain; grandchildren: Cole O'Dell, Rachel O'Dell, John R. West III (Kache) & Kainoa West; and a host of family and friends. "Mama, thank you for loving us unconditionally." The family will be greeting friends 5-8 PM Thursday. Services to celebrate her life will be 2:00 PM Friday, March 28, 2014, at Southern Hills Baptist Church (8601 S. Penn) with burial following at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
