What a blessing to sing with Keron Jackson at the end of his concert tonight at Southern Hills Baptist Church. Keron is an awesome Artist from Arlington, TX. He was surprised when Pastor Doug ask if he would do a duet...(I was thinking Doug was going to sing)...(smile)...but then he called me up to the front and handed me the mic. I don't know who was more surprised, Mr. Jackson, (that he had met a lady bass) or me, (that I was getting to sing with this incredibly talented man).
Up until tonight, Carnegie Hall was the highlight of my life...now sharing the song "His Eye Is On The Sparrow" with Keron Jackson will be my most favorite memory! Praise the Lord!

New York was awesome! Carnegie Hall was fabulous! What a wonderful experience to sing in such a historic place. This memory will make me smile for many years to come.

To spend 7 days in the city that 'never sleeps' is indescribable! We had so much fun. From the 'Top of the Rock", to the Statue of Liberty, to the Macy's Day Parade (which we got up at 4:30 am just to get a place in the front of the curbside viewing). When the Parade started 5 hours later I thought my feet would break off my legs they were so cold. But the crowd, the Clowns and the Balloons made me forget my pain and enjoy the view.

I hope everyone enjoyed their holidays and if you ever get the chance to see the Big Apple...take it! Take in every delightful moment from the Taxi's to the Hot Dog vendors it is worth it all. I know why they say "I LOVE NY", and I do.

New York City Bound!!! I have the most exciting opportunity to be a part of "Christmas In New York" singing at Carnegie Hall! That's right...THE CARNEGIE HALL. I am part of a 400 voice choir from all over the United States that will be in New York for this World Premiere. We are performing "The Hope of Christmas" with David Phelps and Special Guest Marcia Ware. The date is Nov. 20th! Carnegie Hall ~ NYC.
I'll post pics later!

My Sons Mark and Matt and Daughter-in-law Gayle outside Macarroni Grill on my birthday. My 11 year old Grandson took this picture! When I asked for a family photo Matt immediately stood us by the handicapped parking sign... I prefer this shot of us.

Great food, GREAT family!

Thanks so much....

Thanks Steve for sharing the stage. The Rodeo Opry is shown on KSBI ch 7 in HD format. The shows air on Friday night and Sunday night at 8:00 pm.

Gotta love these two cute people! My nephew Tim Wigley and niece Janna McLemore, on the Morgan side of the family. Fun night down in Bricktown with friends.
